My new single, Two Metres Close. Written during my week on (virtual) songwriting retreat with Chris Difford. This song was inspired by a challenge Chris set; to write a song inspired by Hannah Grace Deller's amazing documentary photography about the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic. Hannah's work documents the pandemic from the frontline of the NHS, and Hannah coined the expression "Two Metres Close" - it's a song about social distancing, and it's certainly heavy, but I think it has a ray of hope in it.
