"It's a bit of a sad tale, this. I left home very young, like, 13. I fell into a community of very spiritual people; no bad thing. I embraced a lot of positive things, and learned a lot about life and living. Then things started to get a little weird. It started to feel like I was living in a ghost story. Lots of people speaking in tongues, talk of ghosts, claims of possessions, that sort of thing. As much as I crave a spiritual existence, I've got zero tolerance for supernatural ideas. I don't believe in any of that, I'm not interested if the house is supposed to be haunted, I was just tired of it all. It started to feel like my life was being dictated to by dead people. I used to go these meet-ups, and it was all for show. Remember in Nighty Night when Jill is speaking in tongues and contacting the dead? That. Exactly that. If you believe in all that, fine; leave me out of it though."

lyrics
Well I could turn this round,
If I got some sleep,
But I don't quite know,
What is happening
Can't they bless this house?
Can't they stop this noise?
There are things I need,
To get off my chest
I have tried very hard
To get some piece of mind,
But her mother won't sleep,
No,
Her mother won't sleep
And if I don't quite know
What is happening,
I could drop the bombs,
I could start the war
Can't you leave me here,
I could sleep just fine,
Throw me out just here,
I can sleep just fine
And it always,
Gets you in the end
And it always,
Gets you in the end,
You and all your friends,
You and all your friends,
Well I have tried very hard
To get some piece of mind,
But her mother won't sleep,
No her mother won't sleep,
I have tried and it's very hard,
To get some piece of mind
But her mother won't sleep,
No her mother won't sleep
And if I spend another night,
In a crooked, haunted house
I will never get to sleep
I will never get to sleep,
So can't you leave me out of this tonight?
And don't you know?
Don't you know?
That it's almost over
Yes it's almost over
And don't you know?
Don't you know?
That it's almost over
Yes it's almost over
And I know it's never got this far,
And it doesn't even know your name,
So I'm gonna have to pin my hopes
On someone else
But this was meant to be,
You and me,
Tonight
Tonight
And this was meant to be,
You and me,
Tonight
Tonight
